Transformative Behavioral Solutions

About

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University at Long Beach in 2018. I also participated in a Post-Baccalaureate Social Psychology Program in 2019 at The University of Oxford. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University. I have maintained a private practice devoted to the treatment of OCD, Anxiety Disorders, Phobias, and Trauma since January 2019. I have also worked at a number of mental health institutions in the Greater Seattle Area. I am a Certified Counselor (CC), a Certified Peer Counselor (CPC), a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPT), and a Registered Nursing Assistant (NAR) in the state of Washington.

I am an OCD/Anxiety/Trauma sufferer who has obtained extensive experience in the practice of Exposure (and Response Prevention) Therapy and procured tremendous benefit from this form of treatment. I have translated the fruits of my triumph into therapeutic work with fellow sufferers. I am uniquely qualified to administer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure Therapy, as I can adopt the perspective of both the client and the provider. My ability to empathize with the patient’s struggle enables me to attune to his or her distress and calibrate treatment according to his or her best interests. I have received additional training in the clinical implementation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention from The Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy as a means to further my expertise and provide my clients the most effective evidence-based treatments available.

My approach is rooted in a robust application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure (and Response Prevention) Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. These modalities provide the greatest relief for sufferers of OCD, Anxiety, Phobias, and Trauma. I am also well-versed in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which serves as a useful adjunct. My role as a clinician is to assist the client in the implementation of these techniques. I will guide the patient through the application of these behavioral interventions to address symptoms of OCD, Anxiety, Phobias, and Trauma. This clinical approach is designed to reduce distress and optimize rehabilitation.

Clients will also acquire the tools and skills necessary to perform CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Exposure Therapy autonomously, and thus secure the means prudent to maintain functionality after the completion of treatment.
